The March Workshop will be a “field trip” to the Oakbrook Borders for a reading/book signing by bestselling author Jodi Piccoult. It’s women’s history month, and this is a woman writer who is making history by mastering the art of the bestseller.

Event is free, though you may want to purchase her new book , “Handle with Care,” and have it signed. We’ll attend the reading/signing, then grab a coffee/tea/treat in the cafe afterward to discuss “How to write a bestseller” and other writing topics that come to mind.
CARPOOL INFO: Feel free to drive yourself, but otherwise, let’s meet at 12:15 pm in the parking lot of the Algonquin Area Library EASTGATE Branch, 115 Eastgate Drive, Algonquin. (It’s closed on Sundays, room for our cars). We will leave by 12: 30 pm. It’s a 45-minute/hour drive to Oakbrook. We should get there by 1:30 pm to buy books, get seats. We should be back by 5:30 pm. I ( Amy) will drive and can fit four people in my car. If we have more people, someone else will need to offer to drive.
